How to make Appe | paniyaram | suji appe | Rava appe





Ingredients :- 

1 cup semolina (suji,)
1 cup curd (dahi)
Salt to taste
For tempering
2 tbsp oil
8 to 10 curry leaves
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
1/2 tbsp chana dal
1/2 tbsp white urad dal

Method :-

In a mixing bowl take 1 cup semolina,add 1 cup curd (dahi),1/2 cup water.
Mix well,cover and leave for half an hour.
Semolina soaks water and becomes smooth batter.
Now heat a tadka pan add 2 tbsp oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves,chana dal urad dal.
Now pour this tempering into batter.
Add 1/2 tbsp salt,mix well.
Add 1/2 tbps baking soda or eno in batter.
Batter is ready to make appam or paniyaram.
Grease the appam patra with ghee or oil and pour this batter into every circle shape cavity,cover and cook for 4 to 5 minute.
Now flip this appam and cook from other side well for 3 to 4 minute.
Suji appam or paniyaram is ready to serve.
Serve with some chutney or sauce.
