Ingredients :-
1 cup all purpose flour (maida)1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
2 tsp semolina (suji)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup ghee
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp elaichi powder
chopped almonds for garnishing
Method :-
In a mixing bowl add half cup ghee and 1 cup powdered sugar mix well with the help of whisker or beater untill it turns puffy and creamy.Now add 1 cup all purpose flour(maida), 1/2 cup gram flour (besan),2 tsp semolina (suji), 1/2 tsp baking powder.
Add 1 tsp elaichi powder for extra flavor.
Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough.
Now preheat the cooker with 1/2 kg salt,
grease the idli stand plate with oil or ghee.
Now make a round ball of nankhatai and place it into idli plate.
Add chopped almonds over nankhatai for garnishing.
Now transfer this idli stand into preheated cooker,remove whistle and rubber and cover the lid.
Bake this for 15 to 20 min.
after 15 min nankhatai is perfectly cooked,color changes to little golden brown .
Nankhatai are ready to serve
you can store this nankhatai into airtight container for a month.
