Rava Cake in Cooker -Eggless Tuti Frutti cake









Ingredients :- 

1/2 cup curd
1 cup powdered sugar
1 /2 cup oil
1 & 1/2 cup semolina (suji)
1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp tuti frutti
1 tsp baking powder
1/4th tsp baking soda

For baking in pressure cooker :-
1 cup salt
1 iron stand
Baking dish

Method:-

  • In a mixing bowl, take 1/2 cup curd and 1 cup powdered sugar now mix it well untill the mixture becomes creamy.
  • Then add 1/2 cup oil (any vegetable oil)
  • Again whisk it well then add 1 & 1/2 cup semolina and 1/2 cup all purpose flour.
  • Mix well to maintain the batter consisitency add 1/2 cup milk. Milk should be at room temperature. 
  • Add tuti frutti to add flavor and every kids likes to eats tuti frutti cake.
  • Now add 1 tsp vanilla essence, mix well.
  • Add 1 tsp baking powder and 1/4th tsp baking soda. 
  • Mix well,do not overmix.
  • Then transfer the batter into greases baking dish and place it into preheated cooker, cover the lid,remove whistle and rubber of pressure cooker.
  • Cook for half an hour on low flame. 
  • After half an hour check the cake with knife if it comes out clean cake is perfectly baked.
  • Now cake is ready to serve.
