Ingredients :-
3 Tsp ghee
1 Tsp oil
Cooked rice
Saffron water
Chopped green coriander
To marinate the vegetables :-
3 Tsp curd
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chilly powder
1 Tsp coriander powder
1/4th tsp garam masala
1 cup paneer cubes
1 cup chopped potato cubes
Chopped thinly sliced onion
Roughly chopped tomatoes
Chopped green chilly
Grated ginger
Some cauliflower florets
Method :-
In a mixing bowl add curd,salt,turmeric,red chilly powder,garam masala,coriander powder,mix well and add all the vegetables to marinate.
Let it marinate for 30 minute.
Heat a pan with ghee and oil
Add all the marinated vegetables and cook for 10 to 15 minute untill all the vegetables cooked completely.
Now removed half of the cooked vegetable and keep it aside.
Now layer the cooked rice over cooked vegetables then layer it with vegetable which we removed earlier.
Again layer it with cooked rice and sprinkle some saffron water.
Garnish it with chopped green coriander.
Cover it with lid and Dum cook for 10 to 12 min.
Now serve this biryani with boondi or onion raayta.
