Simple Eggless sponge cake recipe
Simple sponge cake is is made only with few ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen. This cake is commonly used to make layered cakes of many flavors.
Ingredients :-
Butter - 40gmOil - 3 tsp
Powdered sugar - 50gm
Condensed milk - 200ml
Milk - 1 cup
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
All purpose flour - 1 & 1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Instructions :-
- In a mixing bowl take butter,powdered sugar and oil
- Beat it till creamy mixture forms
- In a separate cup (liquid mix) add milk + vinegar + vanilla essence , keep it aside for 5 min.
- In a separate bowl measure ( dry ingredients) all purpose flour,baking powder,baking soda seive it properly.
- Now add dry ingredients into creamy mix and add liquid mix gradually.
- Using cut and fold method prepare batter.
- Now transfer this batter into greased baking dish and bake it in preheated oven at 180c for 40 to 45 minute.
- You can use this spongy cake to make layered cake.
